Salesforce Security Update – Additional Verification Prompts
You may notice that Salesforce is now asking you to verify your identity more frequently when opening certain reports, dashboards, or exporting data.

What to expect
- After signing in normally, you may occasionally be prompted to:
- Enter a verification code
- Approve a notification
- Confirm your identity using another method
- These prompts most commonly appear when:
- Accessing reports or dashboards
- Exporting data
- Logging in from a new device or location

What you need to do
- Simply follow the prompt to verify your identity when asked
- Ensure your account has at least one verification method set up (such as a phone number or email)
- If you are unable to complete the verification, contact the Help Desk for assistance
